A Quote to Inspire

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

SOMEONE'S WATCHING

So, yesterday I attended a little function that was held by my Uncle Nathaniel. He is an art buyer and collector of all kinds of art. Anyway he held an "Under the Stars" event at our house. A large netted tent was put up and you could see through the light fabric. Luckily it didn't rain. It was lovely but I never care for snobs. There were so many rich people I was almost sick. I'm not big on flaunting my family's money. Neither are they. Well, my Aunt Isodora is, she's always trying to top someone doing something extravagant.
Tala made herself comfortable with some guy that was not Ashton, (smiles) I have no idea what there thing is.

The Dining Area after the viewing.

Denille had something to do so only Camille attended. She seemed to be coming out of her shell since Mr. Townsend left them, taking Denille's older brother Tristan with him. My mom and she were becoming great friends being as that they both were single.
Anyway, I decided to just walk around and view the art alone. After I viewed the last piece, which was a long lost DaVinci. His way of seeing things never ceased to amazed me. The tagged price for the painting was ten point five million. After I saw that on the program I took in a deep breath, laughed and walked away. Ten million? For a painting? I love paintings but seriously?

So, after I gathered my bearings from that I walked along the pool and took a seat on one of the lounge chairs. Once I shooed away a few guys that were just trust fund babies I laid back and closed my eyes. Suddenly, I was sure I heard someone call my name. I opened my eyes but no one was around. Looking out into the darkness I could have sworn someone was there. Watching me. It was the same feeling I have had before. It's getting more strange. And living in my family there should not be anything strange. The voice I heard was a low deep tone. Male and like nothing I've ever heard before. It was just my name that was spoken. Just, Karah. The thing that is scary to me is that I was not afraid. There was no fear in me. There was someone there and that didn't affect me. I felt the urge to shift but not due to fear but curiousity.

I have not told Anduele, all she'll do is worry. But I have decided to start secretly record a few days of activity. I have set up my two cameras with them pointing directly towards the woods past our backyard. The security servillence are great but I feel that I am dealing with something or someone that is aware of those cameras. I hope that they would just show themselves to me because I dont fear them I'm only like them...curious as to why I dont.

I will stay on this.

Glad I'm Still Standing

Hello,

So, Nikki has finally decided to bring me back to the forefront of her brain. Whoop-dee-do. About time some would say. Since she has I guess I am inclined to tell you about what has happened since my absence from you all.

*sighs* Well, let me start by saying I'm am fresh out of ideas as to who is following me. I shifted a few times to try and catch their scent but they've been smart enough to hide it and lead me down dead ends. There is something scary and then again not at the same time. I know they are out there and in time I'll find them.

I know that the shifting thing is such a big deal, and the fact that my grandmother was supposedly the first female to have this gift is an even more big of a deal but damn. Sorry, I try not to swear so much. Not since my mom caught me swearing out my anger a few weeks ago. But honestly if I could change this I would. If I could wish away this gift that I have I would. I'd hand it over to someone that truly would want to live with it. Denille says he understands, don't see how. It's not like he has to live with this. The only person I can talk to is Anduele and she is so proud of how far I've come that I hate to even think about how miserable I am around her. She takes in my emotions and most of the time they are not smile worthy.

But I can say I've had a reason to smile. Denille has helped me to come out of my shell and little. With help from Tala. She calls herself my "cosmetic council". I'm sorry that I'm not into MAC lipgloss and blush and eyeliner and whatever else she tries out on my face. Surprisingly Denille loves it, but then again he said he liked me even when I didn't wear the make-up and the clothes my mom purchased but I never wore. I feel pretty with him and I've never really felt pretty. I really shocked everyone when I wore my swinsuit to the beach. Our yearly family vacation included a few new faces this year and I wore a two piece. It was so funny. My grandfather tried his best to keep me covered. LOL

Oh, let me shar a few pics with you. We went to Saint Tropez and I actually had a blast this time!

I almost fell trying to get this pic! LOL...But I got it! My grandfather finally allowed me to walk alone and when I got the freedom I almost killed myself!

The water was beautiful but we had to go shopping. I snuck this one while my mom was looking through a window. *snickers*

We hit the beach everyday and since our area was private we had no unwanted guest. (But I did have the feeling that I was being watched)

This was the view from where we sat at dinner! Like it right? I loved it! It was a lovely place called Chateau Mormauh or something! LOL...I love it though. great Escargot (snails for you that dont know) they actually tasted like beef! Every one else gagged!

On our way back to the house I snagged a few more pics but I loved this one because I accidentally took it with the wrong lens on! *Anduele has a framed copy of this one!

I loved it! Camille, Denille's mom, enjoyed herself and she seemed to have laughed more than we did. I think all in all we had a great family vacation. Mom and Camille are already planning our next one. LOL...Our next stop? Tahiti! Can't wait.

Anyway, I'll be back soon to give you updates on what's what in this life of mine. Stay tuned cause hopefully I'll have bead on whoever it is following me.

Until next time, later.

About Friggin Time!

Well it took Nikki a while to get back to me and I can say that I am pissed but happy that she decided to come back to Earth. If iI'd had heard about that computer again I think I'd have screamed. Maybe even blew a blood vessel in my brain.

Okay enough about her let's get to me. I've been wondering why family is so dysfunctional. I look at my family and I've come to the conclusion that they are dysfunctional but they are loving. Now I had the pleasure of running into Alison Mali's mother and came to the conclusion that she is a total...well you know. I think that's the reason Alison's so screwed in the head.

For all that are unaware, Alison Mali is my nemesis...LOL..."nemesis" I sound like someone from Star Trek. Great movie by the way but back to my eval of Alison. She's one of those high school cheerleading-too-good-to-speak-dying-to-ruin-your-life-because-you're-not-part-of-her-world types, and at one time I was very intimidated by her. Now? Well lets just say that's changed. VERY much so. I think Denille helped me to see that. Even after I talked him down from his 'encounter' I had to run out and have and encounter of my own. It's nothing big just I was fed up and I had to explain to her the consequences of harming people I care for. Alison Mali is a horrid teenager but you'll read about that later. Let's just say, she get's hers. Big time.

Speaking of Denille I must tell you he's been very suspicious of me being out when he calls at night sometimes. He still is not aware my..."condition", and I hope he doesn't. I still plan to go to USC or UCLA and no that is not the University of South Carolina! Bleh! Nothing against those "Cocks" but I prefer to attend the university of sun and fun. LOL...and education. Don't get me wrong I have always put studies first which is why my GPA is a 4.0., and not the mention I am tied with Denille for Valedictorian. But, just between you and I,  I don't really want to make a speech to a class of 568 students that never paid any attention to me in the first place. So, yeah, I'll let him have that honor.

Hold on................................

Oh, okay, I have to got now. My mom needs me to go the grocery store, but I will be back tomorrow. YOU HAVE MY WORD!

A Night for Play!

At first, I started not to tell about any of my shifting episodes but I realized that you guys need to know something about me. This time it happened after we (Tala, Denille, and Ashton) went out to a game.

The court was packed and we enjoyed the season’s four-on-four tournament. I, personally, didn’t care about anyone there except for the ones I was with but as I sat on the concrete bleachers I heard someone yell. The sounds came from the woods behind the cement block wall of the blacktop. I looked around to see if anyone else had heard but everyone was so into the game that no one seemed on alert. No one but me. I told Denille that I’d be back. I made up a lie about having to use the bathroom and went around to check it out.

I caught the scent of blood and thought that couldn’t be good at all. As soon as I was out of the eye of the drunken school kids I closed my eyes and concentrated on my form. Long fluid legs, strong straightened back, my elongated muzzle. The smooth gray fur along my body that felt just like my own skin. My vision became for vivid and clear and my large paws dug into the bracken earth. The cold, almost black, semi-wet dirt, meshed under my nails and between each. Once I was fully transitioned I stretched my hind legs back, pushing my fronts forward. It was just like waking up from a great sleep. But the thing was, I was just getting started.

I began to sniff the trail of the crimson liquid and noticed that the scent was familiar. Not familiar as in human but familiar as in species familiar. I began to pace myself as I loped and ran through the cool trees. The scent was getting stronger but I could not hear anyone or thing as the source of the seemingly fatal wound. Whoever it was They were around for a while till they decided to make their way out of the woods. Then once I got a lead on the scent and shot through the forest suddenly, the scent was gone. I even turned back and retraced my tracks and they were gone. I made sure that as I trekked back to the edge of the forest line, that I took in that scent so I’d know who they were if they just so happen to come across my path.

Once I got close to the cheers and yells of the Court I shifted back. I had to clean my nails as I walked, those were always dirty when I returned back to my human form. Nothing else. Funny huh? Well, I just thought that I’d share that with you. Who knows I may find out who they really are. And perhaps you too?

Stay tuned

Just Scrambling

I got up too early this morning so that I would not have to rush and ended up tossing clothes everywhere! I think the fact that I had to talk to Denille about his pending interview with Nikki calmed me a little. I admit I was a bit frustrated because she left out a few key points as to why things are going the way they are now. He understood why she did that, because a lot more guys my age will probably read it than that of the older crowd, although I can say that Nikki emailed me and said that whe's gotten good feedback from the interview and our postings. I kinda like that. And because of that I'd like to give notice to a few of them!

To Colette, Dot, Sandra, Helen, Izabella and Ashley! The great friends of Nikki's aka AP on the Twilight Saga website in the "Older Fans (25+) Discussion". They have been following Nikki's work and our blogs and I thank them very much for their support!

Gotta go now! Tala's rushing me to get down stairs!

First Morning of Classes: A Text from the Cellie

MSG 1:
Well goodmorning to you all, I am heading off to my Advance Chem class where I know that Denille will be behind me with that look in his eye. I have been picking up a lot of his thoughts lately. At first it was just curiousity and now it's just the fact I loved hearing him in my head. It's funny that our conversations are more intitmate in our heads than out loud. But there's a reason for that, I am simply not ready. We kissed, did I tell you that? Yeah, we kissed a while back and it...it was so real. LOL. Well of course it was real but with him the kiss sparked some kind of euphoric color show. I can’t really explain it, it’s like floating within a box of lightly colored Crayolas and then there’s this tingle all over my skin.

MSG 2:
Don’t laugh you guys, I’m new to this. It was my first kiss and even though I had to stop Denille from nearly killing a fellow ASSmate (because he is an ass) before we kissed, it was a moment that I’d never had before. A milestone in my life. What was more embarrassing was the fact that my mom, Anduele (grandmother), and the Aunts were all up and drinking. Grace even had Sophie up and she was giggling right along with them. They waited for me to return to ask me how my date went. Anduele is very strong adn she can pick up on emotions so I don't recommend you think intimately about anyone or anything if you don't want her to know. They've all figured out their ways to not be read by her but with me she has to ask permission. It's not so much out of courtesy but that she cant access my thoughts unless I give her access. I love that.

MSG 3:
Denille and I are connected. At that point we became more connected that any two people I know. Our minds are so link now that he can sense when I'm sad, happy, angry and other emotions. But I feel that there will be hurdles for us to jump in order to ever get to where we’re supposed to be. He’s been distant lately but still he visits. I think one of our hurdles is getting close and I have braced myself for it.

MSG 4:
Oh, there he is, bright smokey gray eyes, dimples and the most beautiful smile I've ever seen in my life. Gotta go, he's crooking his finger to me. And...yep...I gotta go.

Oh, P.S. Nikki's interviewing me somtime this week even though I'm a bit mad with her but stay tuned to that!

Merry New Year!

I won't say much because for one, I'm too tired. I just had to help wrangle in the little ones (The Aunts) and those chicks are completely hammered. I think if you cut them they'd bleed alcohol. LOL. They are pretty much done for, but the joy will be me at 10 in the morn blasting Blueprint 3 from my room, while cleaning, and hearing them whine because it's too loud. Ahhh, payback is oh so sweet. On the real, I enjoyed this new year celebration a lot better. I guess because everyone was happy. Even Aunt Isa, (Tala's mom) was there and she laughed and held conversations with others. I was very happy that Ash brought his mom. She took to my mom very well and I think that they have something planned for the summer. Oh but the highligh of the night was Soph and her Sparkler. ROTFL. It was given to her by some crazies (who shall remain nameless)..LOL.. and she waved around at first like she was told to but then she tried to eat it. You should have seen all of us dive to get it from her. She thought it was soooo funny. And as we all picked ourselves up out of the sand we laughed because in a way it was hilarious.

I really loved that Denille was here to share this with me. I'd never had someone share this type of thing with so it was strange but sweet at the same time. He and his mom Camille were such great people to share a night like this with. I only hope that there are more of those kids of days with them.

Well, I gotta go now. I'm in my bed with one of my favorite movies ready to play. Twilight!...LOL...I just love that Edward, dont you?

My Before Holiday Gift!

Before I got out of school for the holidays Grandpa Teri and my mom bought be a Bently GT which is the car that I was wanting for my graduation present. They made me wonder as to how I was going to take my grandpa back to the airport. Luckily he, along with Denille, can actually fit. What with their 6'4 and 6'3 height I was surprise they got their bodies into it. Denille helped, along with his mom Camille. Apparently she knows a guy (someone on the inside)...LMAO...Anywho I love it and now I can't peel Tala from the front seat, or worse the driver seat.

My mom said that Uncle Nathaniel and Aunt Isa wont buy Tala's car till graduation and they still dont know what to get her. I think she wanted a BMW745, but that was the last time she was drooling over her choice. It might have changed. I was hesitant about driving it because of these asses-can I say asses? Yes?- okay, asses around here love to gawk and stare. I've gotten used to it though. One day they'll get over it too.

Well I have to go now Tala hit me in the lip and I returned the favor. I gotta go get cleaned up before Denille and Ashton come over and play Need For Speen Shift. Its an awesome game! You gotta check it out!
Holiday vacation was okay but I am ready to get back to classes and graduate.

Later
Karah

P.S. I am so loving it here's a few pictures.

I love this thing! You can't even know how much I loved this ride. It's like sitting on clouds. Driving on them too!

What is wrong with me?

I began to feel a bit antsy so I decided to call who was on my mind. I am going to talk to him tonight.

*waiting for him to answer*

He answered, so I guess I'll come on here later on tomorrow.

POOF!..LMAO

Answer me this!

I passed my Advanced Anatomy class with an A! I think that this last year will be great. That is if I can stop having all types of interferences (Denille T.) from around me. I like him but I think that he wants something that I am unable to give him right now. I admit I have spent time with him and I think he feels more towards me than I of him.
Hopefully he will understand what I am saying and continue to want to remain friends. Hopefully.

Well you all have a great happy holiday and a merry new year! 2010 here I come!

PS. I know that Tala was on my computer last night. She forgot to exit out of her window and left her entire blog open...LOL...she wont learn. Stay tuned for our Discussions. I'm sure that Nikki will be opening that later on in the up and coming year!.
